BIOGRAPHIE

In 1983, Ryoko Takami joined the Waseda Shogekijo Company (now SCOT, led by Tadashi Suzuki). She graduated from Tokyo Woman’s Christian University in 1989 and left the troupe that same year. Since then, she has worked as a professional writer on the game of Go while continuing her involvement in theatre. In 2020, she suspended activities with her own theatre company to care for family members. In 2023, she enrolled at Eigabi School and has since been dedicated to filmmaking.
