Júlia Coldwell Serra is a director and screenwriter, graduated in Directing from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). During her studies, she directed several fiction and documentary short films, including LA MORT PETITA (2021), which was awarded Best Short Film at the BCN Film Fest. In 2025, she completed a Master’s in Directing at the same school with the film NINGÚ BORDA (NOBODY BARKS) starting its festival journey with selections in Clermont-Ferrand ISFF and SEMINCI – Valladolid IFF. Her work focuses on the use of comedy and the absurd as tools to explore contemporary social issues. She is currently developing her first feature film.
