Aurélie Darbouret is a sound producer, author and anthropological researcher. Her work focuses on the subtle, complex and ambivalent porosities and interactions between human societies and living worlds. She is currently researching the perception of underwater anthropic pressures in the Bay of Marseille. She experiments with polyphonic forms of writing, developing hybrid objects combining textual, visual and sound narratives, multimodal exhibitions and workshops with the public. Mare Nostrum is her first film.
