Story, story, story….. It's all about the story and using whatever tools and techniques work, or can be adapted to work, to tell that story. New Zealand born Sean Kennedy Santos has been creating visual stories with a cinematic quality all his life, but is best known for his unconventional style being commissioned for marketing global brands. His body of work spans arthouse photography as collected by the New York Historical Society and private collectors at Philips Auctioneers, London. Commercially Santos was the first to adapt a small camera for motion over a decade ago - a Zeiss cinema prime on a non mirrorless design - and this resourcefulness in adapting tools to meet his creative ambitions underscores his vital approach to storytelling. Currently Santos is working with Gabrielle Fitzgerald on next steps with The Werkaway, inspired by the classics while empowered by tech. And Al. Always Independent.
