Aslı Bildirici is a storyteller with a wide range experience in various roles in filmmaking. After completing her Masters in Film Studies at the University of Amsterdam, she focused on documentary production with makers such as Julia Ton (GRAND THEFT HAMLET, 2024), Mari Soppela (MOTHER LAND, 2022) and Jacco Groen (LILET NEVER HAPPENED, 2012) before ending up as a production manager in the commercial department of production company 100% (formerly HALAL) for 4 years. After her first script ‘This is Me’ was a semi-finalist in the international drama competition ScreenCraft in 2020, she decided to focus more on creating her own stories. Her films are deeply inspired by her culture as a Turkish woman and find a balance between drama, humor and politics. Currently she is finalising her debut fiction short film “Rotten” with Clove Films.
