Leigh Minarapa

BIOGRAPHIE

Leigh graduated Victoria University of Wellington in 2013 with a degree in film and then entered the industry as a Production Assistant and Production Manager. She’s worked on a range of projects including web-series, short films, music videos, documentaries and feature films for Māori Television, The New Zealand Film Commission, TVNZ, Te Māngai Pāho and more. Leigh’s short film Street Smart was one of ten films chosen for the Loading Docs funding in 2015 and in 2016 she left Aotearoa to pursue her interests in travel and travel photography. Leigh has a Masters in Screenwriting at Auckland University of Auckland with First Class Honours
