Miriam Furniss-Yacoubi is a director and composer based in Paris. Born in the Paris suburbs to a Moroccan father and a German mother, and having spent part of her teenage years in the United States, her creative world is shaped by a blend of diverse cultural influences. After studying at Sciences Po, she received a Fulbright scholarship and pursued a Master's in Directing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In 2021, she won the CANNESERIES writing residency and began developing her first series with Chi-Fou-Mi and Aim.E Production. Miriam is currently working on her upcoming directing projects with Alabama Production and Pathé Films. After the Very End is her first short film.
