Giuseppe Carrieri

BIOGRAPHIE

Neapolitan, born in 1985, Giuseppe Carrieri has always been dedicated to a certain idea of cinema aimed at forgotten humanity and hidden places. With "In Utero Srebrenica" he received the nomination for the David di Donatello as "Best Documentary", while with "Hanaa" and "Le Metamorphosis", both co-produced with Rai Cinema, he participated in several international festivals. He teaches film direction at the IULM University in Milan, with his production company Natia Docufilm he deals with the creation of series formats documentaries for national and foreign television networks. He collaborates with UNICEF Italy since 2017 with whom he was on a mission for the creation of the short television films of "Prodigi" for Rai 1 (2017-2021) in Kenya, Brazil, Venezuela, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Lebanon, Turkey, Panama and Mali. He subsequently participated in media missions in Moldova (for the outbreak of war between Ukraine and Russia in 2022), Ethiopia (in September 2022) , Libya (in January 2023) and Afghanistan (in September 2023).
