Gustavo De Carvalho

BIOGRAPHIE

Writer and Director. Gustavo De Carvalho started making films at a young age. Introduced in “Video Production” at Acalanes High School, California. Graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in 2020. Started working professionally in the audiovisual industry in 2018. At O2 Filmes (São Paulo), worked as a production assistant for advertisements and series. More recently, as Assistant Camera in the series "Conquest" (Netflix) and as Assistant Director in the feature "7 Prisoners" (Netflix - Dir: Alexandre Moratto), selected for the Venice International Film Festival and TIFF (2021). Directed clips and short films selected for national and international festivals. Among them are “Um Copo de Chocolate Quente” (2019) shown at ExpoCom (Vitória - ES) and selected for the Oaxaca FilmFest, Mexico. “VINIL” (2019). “2023” (2020). “Our Uncle Pedro” (2021), and “Voto Nulo” (2021), awarded with the Aldir Blanc national grant.
