BIOGRAPHIE

Nim Kyong Ran uses every tool of filmmaking to create emotionally charged stories that transcends words. Something that earned her the Roy Anderson award for “best new director” in 2018. Since then she’s been celebrated with a Grammis nomination for “Ansikte” as well as a Roy nomination for her Seinabo Sey video “I’m just mad” starring Gustaf Skarsgård. Recently she's focused on narrative work, developing short films and a feature film with support from the Swedish film institute.
