BIOGRAPHIE

Amartya is a Mumbai based multi-disciplinary artist with specialisation in film direction and writing. An alumni of FTII Pune, he has directed both fiction and non-fiction shorts which have been screened at international and national film festivals such as IFFSA Toronto, DIFF, IDSFFK, PIFF etc. He has also secured grants from notable bodies like PSBT and CCF. His films deal with the intersectionality of the self and the modern world, searching for the ephemeral in the changing urban landscape.
