BIOGRAPHIE

My name is Arthur Smée, I’m 23 years old, and I come from a village in Haute-Saône, in Franche-Comté. Back there, the Yellow Vests movement was my first experience of activism—the first time I saw my working-class parents believe that we could actually win, the first time I dared to dream that big. I never stopped making films and documentaries, and eventually I had the chance to attend the national film school La CinéFabrique in Lyon, where I had the opportunity to tell this story and turn it into a film.
