Alex Demiere

BIOGRAPHIE

Alex Demiere is a 24-year-old French director and 2D animator. He studied at the Pivaut School of Art, where he graduated with high honors thanks to his short film "Syncope". The film was screened at numerous festivals and received the “For Hope Giving” mention at the Tel Aviv International Short Film Festival. His work is inspired by personal experiences, and he enjoys exploring contradictions that border on the absurd. Charcoal, pastel, and ink are his preferred tools to immerse viewers in a universe that is both bittersweet and captivating. In 2024, he completed his new self-produced short film, "Les Grands Espaces".
