BIOGRAPHIE

Born in 1935, Manuel Matos Barbosa found in drawing and in cinema his form of expression par excellence. Director of the local film club, he has signed some of the most internationally awarded films of Portuguese amateur cinema. From documentary to animation, his films have a strong inspirational component of the landscape, the stories, and the people of Beira Litoral.
