Born and raised for the first 15 years of my life in Melbourne, Australia, at 15 I chose to move to Japan for a year-long full immersion language exchange. Upon returning to Australia, I moved to Hong Kong with my family before graduating and attending Emerson College's pioneering program Global BFA in Film Art, a joint degree between Emerson College and Paris College of Art. Fascinated by cultures and international forms of art, my artwork hopes to blend my multicultural upbringing onto the screen and communicate stories specific to a time and place in the world, but also be open enough to invite the audience to feel regardless of association. Attempting to bridge the gap between the personal and impersonal.
