BIOGRAPHIE

Actor and director Manoël Dupont was born in 1995. He grew up in Avignon, in the South of France, but decided to begin his graduate studies at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Belgium, for the welcoming environment he believes it offers. Constantly curious to explore the numerous areas of performing arts, he has expanded his work through multiple projects within the association he founded in 2018 “RAVIE” as well as for other regional theatre projects. After his first professional experience as a stage director with his junior company for the play “Faire confiance à nos archéologes”, he was cast for a leading role in the Netflix series “Osmosis” (2019). He has worked twice under the direction of Jasmina Douieb, namely for « The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas”, which was performed at the Théatre de Poche in Brussels, followed by “Borders” at the Théatre Le Public. His directorial debut “Oil Oil Oil” in 2021 marks the beginning of a definite passion for filmmaking. He continues to thrive within the realms of theatre and cinema, juggling with the work of acting and directing. He has recently worked with Vincent Cassel and Mara Taquin for the short film “Scorpex” by Bertrand de Langeron
