BIOGRAPHIE

Mare Šuljak holds an MA in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (2008). Since 2001, she has exhibited at numerous solo and group exhibitions, residencies and film festivals in Croatia and abroad. In 2013 her debut film “Site Selection” was selected for the Oberhausen Film Festival’s official competition and for numerous other film festivals in Croatia and abroad where it received two awards – Second Prize at the 44th Review of Croatian film and video (Đakovo, 2012) and Debutant of the year on Days of Croatian Film Festival (Zagreb, 2012).
