Paula Ortiz Gónima

BIOGRAPHIE

Born in Cali, Colombia. Film Director graduated from the Film School of Universidad Nacional de Colombia and the Marc Bloch University of Strasbourg in France. Her documentary Atlantis (2001) about a community of Irish guerrilla victims in Colombia was awarded at several Colombian festivals. In 2012 she was selected as a resident fellow of the Moulin d'Andé Céci in France for writing MIEDO (2016), a documentary that addresses the issue of fear of urban crime from the point of view of citizens. It was exhibited at international festivals.
