Director, writer, producer Aron Matschulat Aguiar, born in São Paulo, Brazil, December 17th, 1985, began his career as a filmmaker studying at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. After graduating in film direction, Aron set himself to produce his own projects independently. From 2015-2018 has produced award-winning commercials such as Day One’s “Sunshine” (Clio Awards, ADC), Autism Speaks “World of Autism” (Cannes, Ciclope, D&AD) and Interface’s “The Unlikely Hero” (New York Film Festival, LIA, AICP, Clio). In 2019 he became part of LOBO’s directors’ roster and won a Clio Award for directing Stop Handgun Violence “3D Tragedies”. In 2020 he wrote and directed a campaign in India called “Frooti Minis” working with Bollywood superstars Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Aron has been engaged in developing independent film productions such as “Diários”, a short-film trilogy about strong female characters that go through powerful transformations. As well as a series called “Sh*t!” where we follow the creation of an amateur theater play and its actors/students’ lives and misfortunes.
