Emil Gallardo is an award-winning Mexican American writer/director and a 2020 HBO Directing Fellow. He's heavily influenced by the two places he's spent his life - Oakland and Los Angeles. He aims to make unforgettable stories that stand out for their authenticity and willingness to confront uncomfortable truths. His current film, 1, 2, 3, All Eyes On Me is no exception.
