BIOGRAPHIE

Marian Freistühler is a filmmaker based in Hamburg, Germany. He studied film at the University of Fine Arts (HFBK) Hamburg with professors Robert Bramkamp and Angela Schanelec and co-founded the production company Ohne Falsch Film whose films were shown at several international festivals. For producing the short documentary ALTURAS, Marian received the German Short Film Award 2020. ISLANDS IN THE CITY is his graduation film.
