BIOGRAPHIE

Nick Hartanto and Sam Roden are based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, respectively. They premiered their debut feature documentary "Traveler" at the 2016 Ashland Independent Film Festival, followed by their short documentary "King of the Rails" which premiered at the 2017 Big Sky Documentary Festival. Their latest short film “The Dishwasher” premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and was awarded a Special Jury Mention and was later optioned by HBO Latino. From the jurors, "This film celebrates the humanity and ingenuity of a character from the margins of society on a propulsive, fast-pedaling quest..."
