BIOGRAPHIE

Sonia Ladidà Schiavone is born and raised in Italy. She graduated in Photography and Film Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples. Her graduation short documentary “Heimaey, Home Island” was screened at the Icelandic documentary festival “Skjaldborg”. Because of her interests in Nordic Films, she moved to Iceland, where she studied Film Production at the Icelandic Film School. She took parts in Icelandic Film Projects (like “A White, White Day” by Hlynur Palmason) and develops personal projects between Italy, Iceland and Denmark. She is also active as photographer: she will take part to the photo exhibition Paris Photo Off in November 2019.
