Kirill Khachaturov is an independent film maker, director, animator and designer. Born in 1984 in Khabarovsk Russia, Kirill began working as a designer, illustrator and media artist in direction of generative art. He studied design at the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow (Partnered with the University of Hertfordshire) and directing at the Moscow School of New Cinema. As a designer he has been internationally recognised and awarded by festivals such as the D&AD awards and was a finalist in the European Design Awards. The world premiere of his debut short film “Protocorba” (2019) took place at the Annecy International Animation Festival as did his graduation short film “Naked” (2020). “Naked” has received numerous awards including: Annecy, Ottawa and Zagreb. Since 2022 based in Porto.
