BIOGRAPHIE

CHENG CHAI HONG is a Singaporean director and screenwriter, with work spanning from broadcast documentaries to indie comedy. Since starting as a 2nd Assistant Director on A Yellow Bird, Chai Hong has gone on to work as a commercial director and TV writer. His commercial portfolio includes works for amongst others, Singapore Tourism Board, Health Promotion Board, Changi Airport Group, Temasek Foundation International, and Lazada. Alongside his work in commercial filmmaking, he has juggled a career in social and digital media, serving as Creative Manager for social media page SGAG. He’s also the creator of indie comedy web series Average Guys and Neighbourhood Watch Task Force, while his short films have screened at National Museum of Singapore’s Singapore Short Cuts and been nominated at the National Youth Film Awards. His writing credits for broadcast also include Singaporean primetime drama Tanglin, and award-winning kids comedy Whoopie’s World.
