BIOGRAPHIE

English: Katherina Harder Sacre (33), Film and TV director, graduated from the University of Chile and Master degree in Film Directing at Bande á Part school in Barcelona. Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Iquique International Film Festival – FICIQQ, which has 13 years of existence. Director of the award-winning short film “Guiding Sights” ( original title "Memorias del viento") winner as Best Short Film at FICValdivia 2011 and selected in more than 35 international festivals including FICGuadalajara, DocumentaMadrid, Huesca, FIC Monterrey, Camerimage, among others. At just 24 years old, she directed the successful television serie “4to Medio” on TVN channel, produced by PAROX, which ran for two seasons. Attended the workshops of script and the Sanford Meisner technique of actors direction in EICTV, Cuba. She participated in the talent campus of BAFICI and Academy Industry Locarno. She is currently developing projects in Chile and Spain, where she founded and actually directs the Barcelona International Film Festival of the Older Adults. In Chile, she is developing the script for her feature film, “Children of the wind”, winner of the chilean development fund and awarded at SANFIC15 in the Santiago Lab section with the FICGuadalajara Ibero-American Co-Production Meeting award. At the same time, she has just co-founded the producer company Volcánica Films whose objective is to strengthen the cinema production in the northern part of Chile. --------------------------------------------------------------- Español Katherina Harder Sacre (33), Directora de Cine y TV chilena, titulada de la Universidad de Chile y Master en Dirección Cinematográfica en Bande à Part de Barcelona. Co-fundadora y Directora Artística del Festival Internacional de Cine de Iquique - FICIQQ, certamen que cuenta con 13 años de trayectoria. Directora del galardonado cortometraje “Memorias del Viento” ganador como Mejor Cortometraje de escuelas en el 18º Festival Internacional de cine de Valdivia y seleccionado en más de 35 festivales internacionales entre los cuales destacan Guadalajara, Documenta Madrid, Huesca, FIC Monterrey, CAMERIMAGE, entre otros. Con tan solo 24 años dirigió su primera serie de televisión, correspondiente al exitoso Docureality “4to Medio”, producido por PAROX y emitido por TVN, la cual tuvo dos temporadas. Cursó los talleres de Guión Cinematográfico y Dirección de Actores basado en la técnica de Sanford Meisner en la EICTV- CUBA, participó en el Talent Campus de BAFICI (2013) y en el Industry Academy de Locarno (2020) Actualmente desarrolla proyectos en Chile y España, en donde funda y dirige el Festival Internacional de Cinema de las Personas Mayores de Barcelona. En Chile se encuentra desarrollando el guión de su primer largometraje, "Los niños del viento" , ganador del FFA2019 para la escritura de guión y galardonado en SANFIC15 en la sección Santiago Lab con el premio Encuentro de Coproducción Iberoamericana de FICGuadalajara. Paralelamente acaba de co-fundar la casa productora Volcánica Films cuyo objetivo es fortalecer la producción cinematográfica en el norte grande de Chile.
