BIOGRAPHIE

Composer Charlie Nguyen Kim is a multi-award-winning French composer based in Miami, renowned for his ability to blend orchestral and electronic music, influenced by both American and French styles. With over 200 projects to his name, he has composed for numerous films and TV series broadcast on major American and French networks, collaborating with directors such as Luc Besson, Scott Waugh, and Luke Greenfield. In 2020, he was selected at the Cannes Film Festival among the 40 best composers in the world during the inaugural edition of Spot the Composer, alongside Alexandre Desplat. His original music for the 2024 Olympic Games, narrated by Marion Cotillard, was presented in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2025, he received an award at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. His work in the luxury sector includes composing the original music for Lancôme’s La Vie est Belle campaign, featuring Julia Roberts and directed by Bruno Aveillan, as well as collaborations with Patrick Dempsey. He has also created sonic identities for brands such as Porsche, Louis Vuitton, Rolls-Royce, and many others, earning him two Cannes Lions Awards. His music has also been exhibited at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris and presented at the Osaka World Expo as well as at Giolabs in Luxembourg in 2025. In parallel, Charlie is an electronic music producer under the name KIMOTION. He has collaborated with major artists such as Diplo, Justice, Like Mike, Mylène Farmer, Grand Corps Malade, and Passi, among others. As KIMOTION, he has reached the top of international charts and shared the stage with legends like David Guetta, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, and Robin Schulz.
