Paloma Lopez

BIOGRAPHIE

Paloma is a writer and director from Caracas, Venezuela based in Los Angeles. She is a graduate from Savannah’s College of Art and Design and studied in the Lycée Français de Caracas. Paloma is a recipient of the 2018 Ignite Fellowship for emerging filmmakers at the Sundance Institute. Her latest short film “Singer” has played internationally and took home the “Best of Fest” in the Speechless Film Festivals’ Short Category, as well as won a Berlin Red Dot Award. Recently, Paloma was commissioned a documentary short film by UNESCO and Lupe Gehrenbeck about a theater workshop for young migrant kids, taking place in Tapachula, Chiapas (South Border of Mexico). She has also been involved in the fashion world, working with London-based fashion magazine Schon! to make “Starpercent” a fashion film about aliens who save the last human alive.
