BIOGRAPHIE

He began making films on 8mm film in high school. After graduating from university, he became an elementary school teacher and continued making films. However, in order to rethink film, he stopped making films and devoted himself to writing film reviews. His website, which featured his film reviews, received favorable reviews and was featured in many magazines and radio programs. He then resumed filmmaking with the goal of making films in rural areas that are as good as those in urban centers, and became involved in the planning and operation of film festivals. He established "Mikawa Eiga" and produced and directed the film "Happy End. Resigned from teaching to concentrate on producing and directing "Ben-joe". With his experience as a teacher, he tries to combine filmmaking and education, and aims to make films that emphasize the development of human skills and human connections. In November 2023, "Ben-Joe" was an official selection in the Competition section of the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) accredited Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, where it had its world premiere.
