BIOGRAPHIE

Trained as a cameraman, film director, editor and graphic designer Vano Tvauri has over 20 years of experience working on documentary films, video and photo stories, advertising clips and posters. He is proficient in a number of film editing, 3D animation and graphic design programs – Adobe After Effect, Adobe Premier Pro, Autodesk Maya, Final Cut Pro. He is working at the national TV broadcasting company Rustavi 2, teaching 3D technology and film editing at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and audio-visual story-telling at the Center for Training and Consultancy, and working at the international documentary film festival CineDoc Tbilisi. Along with his signature films, which include documentary, feature and animation films, Vano has produced 17 videos on programs implemented by ENPARD in Georgia for Mercy Corps. He has worked as the project director, cameraman and editor of documentary film series on ecology and environment protection issues, for the Eurasia Partnership Foundation Georgia. In 2018, he created sounds and did sound editing for the graphic video for Zoï Environment Network. Vano Tvauri produced interview-based video stories for the Open Society Georgia Foundation.
