BIOGRAPHIE

Filmmaker, scriptwriter, actress, author Marion Vernoux has always known she would make films, for as long as she can remember. At 20, she wrote Pacific Palisades, her first feature-length screenplay. By 24, she directed Pierre qui roule, a TV movie produced by ARTE, starring Marianne Denicourt and Benoît Régent. Her first feature film, Personne ne m’aime, brought together Bernadette Lafont, Bulle Ogier, Jean-Pierre Léaud, and Lio… Alternating between successes and setbacks with remarkable consistency, she went on to make a dozen films and TV movies. In 2016, she published Mobile Home with Éditions de l’Olivier, an autobiography presented as an inventory of belongings. She is currently working on the screenplay for Juste pour aujourd’hui, her next feature film, produced by Caroline Adrian (Delante Films).
